Greenland  continues an abstract exploration of tension, fragmentation, and uncertain ground. Built from layered color fields and assertive black linework, the painting speaks to contemporary moments without illustrating them directly.

As Dana Ellyn works increasingly abstractly, the focus shifts toward conveying emotional and psychological response—allowing current events to register through color, forms and emotions  rather than literal reference.
